| The Office of Public Affairs is the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences' official communications link to local, national and international media. Reporting directly to the Dean of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Office of Public Affairs generates awareness, understanding and support for the activities, research and academic programs of the UND SMHS. The public affairs staff supports UND SMHS with centralized, coordinated communications. |

| The mission of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences is to educate and prepare North Dakota residents as physicians, medical scientists and other health professionals for service to the people of North Dakota and the nation, and to advance medical and biomedical knowledge through research. |
