The Office of Public Affairs is the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences' official communications link to local, national and international media. Reporting directly to the Dean of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Office of Public Affairs generates awareness, understanding and support for the activities, research and academic programs of the UND SMHS. The public affairs staff supports UND SMHS with centralized, coordinated communications.

Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences is to educate physicians and other health professionals and to enhance the quality of life in North Dakota. Other purposes include the discovery of knowledge that benefits the people of this state and enhances the quality of their lives.
