Associate Professor of Internal Medicine Assistant Dean of UND Northeast Campus
Dr. Allen is a practicing physician of Internal Medicine in a group practice setting with other internists and subspecialists. He is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Third and fourth year medical students rotate on his service during their clinical clerkships and acting internships in internal medicine. As a member of the University's Medical School faculty, he also assists in developing curriculum and directing the Introduction to Patient Care classes for the second year medical students, frequently lectures the classes on numerous topics, develops and teaches clinical skills, serves as the Director of the UND Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA) program (formerly known as the OSCE) and functions as the Assistant Dean for the Northeast Campus of the Medical School.
